作品描述 | 我常常觉得这是一个令人迷茫的时代,人与自然关系的日趋紧张,导致人们生存处境的恐慌。文化中缺乏理智是当今社会中最为突出的特征,精神上的空虚构成繁华的假象,人们情感中的冷漠溃及着道德的堤防。画中的人几乎并不相干,貌和神离中饱含渴望。 我常常处于一种“边缘”的逆反情节之中,因为无论西方世界眼中的中国文化,还是国内“前卫”之外的社会人文,没有哪一位高瞻远瞩的批评家会“降格”关注人民最质朴的精神情怀,似乎只有调侃生活、调侃政治才能搭上世界主流文化的快车。即使你被生活感动得热泪盈眶,如果美国人没同感,大义凛然的批评家就会断然斥之为边缘,即便你为艺术忠肝义胆,只要西方人没兴趣那就是边缘。当外国人把小便池作为艺术在博物馆展出的时候,我们的“先知”们便急于宣告绘画已经死亡,当装置、行为、观念等艺术在西方盛行之时,我们又听到“架上绘画已不是艺术了……” 每当看到一些憨厚的青年人闯入美术学院,我都有一种莫名的酸楚,由于他们内心的热爱不惜“错踏迷途”,用他们最为美好的年华追惜这快要荒芜的梦想,我甚至不敢正视他们憧憬而空洞的目光。怅然中我再一次感动,并淘入这份热烘烘的边缘情境之中。哎,管它什么边缘,去他妈的主流文化!^_^IalwaysthinkthatIcouldbelostbecauseitissodizzyorgiddyformetoliveintheepoch.Thetensionoftherelationbetweenhumanbeingandthenatureisgettingworse.Peoplefeelpanicfortheirlivingorlivingconditions.Theirrationalorillogicalcultureattitudeisanotablesocialphenomenoninnowadays.Peopleareunconcernedinthestateofapathy.Itistheirapproachtowardemotionandmoral.Peoplepaintedinmypicturesareunrelatedandkeepdistancefromeachother.Theyseemtobeharmonybutactuallyatvariance.Theyareimbuedwithhopes.Theyarethirstandhunger. IoftenpresenttoberebelliousasIemotionallystayatthebrimofthecommunity.Becauseneitherfromtheviewpointofoccidentalnationsnoratthestanceofsocialscholarsoutofthecircleofvan,noonewouldliketodegenerateorcondescendtocareorgiveattentiontothecommonpeopleinChina,andtoshowalittleinterestinginthepurestfeelingsofthem,justbecauseoftheirfarsightsortheirhighpositions.Nocomment.Itseemsthatonlyjokesareuseful.Tomakejokewithlifeandlivingenvironment,andtomakefunwithpolitics,canhelpthemtocatchupthefastpressofinternationalculturalcurrent.Eventhoughonewasmovedbythereallifetoone’seyesbrimmedoverwithwarmexcitedtear,ifAmericandidnotsympathizewith,criticsinspiredawebyupholdingjusticewouldabsolutelyrevileitasperipherization.Eventhoughyouwereabelieverinjusticeandrightnesswithfullwarm-hearted,ifthewesternhadnointeresting,itwouldbeoutoffocus.Whenforeignerscametothemuseumstoadmiretheurinalasamasterpiece,prophetsinChinaweresoeagerlytodeclaimthatthepaintingwasdead.Wheninstallation,activeandconceptionartwereprevalentinwesterncountries,wecouldhearthatframedartworkwasnotart Ialwaysfeelindescribabledistressedeachyearforhonestyoungmenenrollingintouniversitiestroopaftertroop.Theygoonthewrongwaydespitetheywarmlyloveartindeephearts.Theywastetheirtreasureoftimeandlifetosaysorryfortheirdeserteddreams.Ievendarenottoenvisagetheirlongingandvacantsights.Inmourning,Iammovedagainfortheout-of-centersettingwithsuchtendernessdelaying.Ouch,leavethebrinkalone,andshitthemaincurrentofculture! |
